Where have I been?

Life has been busy!  Throughout the last couple months we've been in the process of purchasing our first home.  We've also been out of the country in Thailand and Burma on a short term missions trip with a group from our church.

It's an unreal experience to leave our culture to be immersed in another.  If you have the opportunity to go somewhere and volunteer time and effort, I highly recommend you do.  I took over 300 pictures of the trip, but I'll just share a couple.

Found a fellow fisherman on the border of Thailand and Burma (Myanmar).

Such a surreal experience.

Needless to say it has been a crazy ride, and not a ton of fishing has been had.

...

...

But...there has been some!  I am always in need of fishing therapy.  Luckily the rivers aren't too far.

Even found this little treat while swinging marabou.  Fought like a tank

I can't wait for things to start thawing here in Colorado.  Most lakes still have a solid foot or more of ice....sigh.

Life is short....live it well

    1. Thanks Juan! It actually wasn't my first. I've been on a trip to Africa as well.

  2. I applaud you and your group for your efforts abroad. Surreal, pretty much sums it up! Happy to see you back home and bothering some Colorado trout. Which, by the way, are very impressive on your end.

  3. Excellent photographs Jeremy. Maybe Colorado is starting to thaw. At least until the next storm.

    1. If it starts to thaw one day, it will snow the next right? Gotta love it!
